Shopping in Milan

The first image coming to your mind is probably that of high-end shops, including the local brands Armani, Gucci, Prada or Versace. And that’s true, you can find these shops in several locations. The city offers sufficient options for all budgets, including one of the longest shopping streets in the world.

Starting from the city center, right next to the Duomo di Milano, you will find Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. This is a big shopping mall which focuses on expensive brands like Gucci and Prada. What makes this place special is its architecture, as the building dates from the 19th century.

You can then start walking along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, a pedestrian street which hosts a large variety of shops. You can find here Zara, Mango, Bershka, but also Furla and Max Mara. There is even an official Disney store.

As Corso Vittorio Emanuele ends at Piazza San Babila, you can continue to the Quadrilatero della moda. Here is where the high-end brands are. Along the Via Monte Napoleone street you can find Boss, Bvlgari, Louis Vuitton, Armani, Gucci, Prada, Dolce&Gabbana.

Last but not least, you have the Corso Buenos Aires, one of the longest shopping streets in the world. Cheaper brands can be found here, including Terranova, Zara, Calzedonia and Celio, but also more expensive ones like Timberland or Furla.

In case you’re looking for an outlet, there are several small ones around Milan. The most popular one is Serravalle Designer Outlet, which is about one hour drive away from Milan. It has a large number of shops, and even the high-end brands like Prada and Versace are there.
